The first rung of the ladder. Small software the studio is building or has built — light, exploratory, sometimes deployable into client contexts as a sturdier-than-POC engagement.

What we are building.

  • Lab Solutions

    A growing set of lab-grade software the studio has built — quantitative infrastructure, automation systems, research tooling. By introduction, we deploy these into client contexts as a sturdier alternative to a typical proof-of-concept. Not turnkey; we set up, you operate. Lab solutions that mature past studio scale graduate up the ladder.

    2026 — Lab

Individual lab products are not catalogued publicly. We share names and details privately with people we are already in conversation with.

How the lab works

Four house rules.

  1. 01

    Lived-in problems first.

    Every lab piece starts as a problem we have personally bled over — never a market-trend guess. If we have not run into it ourselves, we are not the right people to solve it.

  2. 02

    Small, sharp, deployable.

    A lab piece is small enough to be understood by one person and deployed inside a real workflow without a six-month integration. If it cannot fit in a head, it cannot fit in a client.

  3. 03

    Better than a POC.

    When a lab piece is mature enough to engage a client, the deal is simple: we deploy and operate it for the first stretch, you take the wheel. It is shorter than building from scratch, and sturdier than a typical proof-of-concept.

  4. 04

    A lab graduates, or it sleeps.

    Lab pieces that find real customers and recurring revenue graduate into ventures. Pieces that do not get retired honestly — we do not pretend a thing is alive.

Engagement

If a lab piece could fit you.

We do not pitch lab solutions and we do not run a submission form. If you have heard about something specific from someone we have worked with — or if you are a past contact with a problem you think one of our lab pieces might solve — write directly.

We take a small number of engagements per year and turn down what does not fit.
