We are seeking an outstanding Rails developer to build innovative social web apps as part of our development team.
- Minimum 1 years RoR experience
- Experience building complete web applications in Rails (examples required)
- Excellent grasp of MVC and DRY principles
- Master of HTML, CSS2/CSS3 and Javascript
- Team player comfortable with agile software development techniques( SCRUM , Iterative software development)
- Experience scaling Rails apps preferred
Role
- Work with our Rails development team to build innovative social web applications
Bonus points for
- Comfortable using unobtrusive jQuery
- Experience with OAuth, REST APIs, and similar concepts
- GitHub or StackOverflow profiles
- Contributes to open source projects (examples appreciated)

Requirements
- Degree in one of the following:
- Computer Science
- Engineering (all disciplines)
- Math/Sciences - Demonstrated leadership, quantitative and analytical skills
- Intellect, evidenced by an outstanding academic background
- Ability to engineer client requirements, when applicable
- Capacity to work individually and as a team member in a professional client environment

Requirements

- Strong analytical mindset to perform technology research and product development work
- Solid Programming Skills
- Are ravenous about learning new technologies, tackling new challenges, paying attention to details, and, ultimately, growing professionally
- Have knowledge of Unix operating systems, including experience with the command line interface will be an advantage.
- Have knowledge of XHTML/CSS, JavaScript and Ruby on Rails will be an advantage.
- Dynamic, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
Responsibilities

- Develop system prototypes and demo for marketing and exhibition
